A Cricket ball hit on my right eye due to unawareness as other eye working I couldn't understand loss of vison in other eye so it delayed Maximum 4-5 years that eye started squint extropia then we went to a hospital doctors said it is a Rhegmatogenuous Retinal detachment and they did surgery and in the subsequent surgery they also removed silicone oil and catract was formed that surgery also done successfully and Vision restored to 20/100 Recently after 14 years again suddenly vision lost in the right eye due to same Rhegmatogenous Retinal detachment again retina detached so they did surgery and removed silicone oil within 1.5 month I don't know why again retina got detached so again RRD surgery done post this surgery Sudden IOP increase 54mmg and immediately visited Hospital they reduced it immediately and im thinking this iop increase is due silicone oil in the eye In the next visit retina doctor told me my optic nerve is weak and doctor is uncertain till we remove silicone oil she said But im thinking due to silicone oil it temporarily stopped optic nerve function Now vision in that eye is HM+ only After removing silicone oil Can i see improvement in vison? Any possibility for significant improvement??? Any other advancement to restore vison in this cases possiblity or hope of future? Address first question after silicone oil removal vison improvement possiblity as I told I have visited hospital immediately with 24-48 hours as pressure increase and managed IOP I'm using drops also now to control IOP it's under control As retina attached with silicone oil and my restricted to HM+ only I don't know what happened to optic nerve

I've had Fuchs' for a long time and didn't know it. It started 20-some-odd years ago with increased light sensitivity. When I had cataract surgery done with a laser, my eyes were ruined. I wish I'd had a better optometrist years ago who could've caught this disease earlier. I should've had the surgery when my optometrist found it. I go into the hospital to have the surgery in January. I'm not looking forward to a week flat on my back. Then, the next eye and the whole thing again. And I have no idea which side of my family this came from. No one ever complained of any symptoms. Thanks for letting me rave.

As a healthcare professional, I am just frustrated with the way BPEI physicians treated me when I was doing this master, humiliation, and abuse. I am sure they did the same for many students. I hope one day there is a website to write out our truthful experiences. I CAN NOT FORGET THE INSULTS I was exposed to in this institute from the faculty despite I was paying out of my pocket. I got out before finishing the degree. your value in this place is who you know not what you know or what you are doing.

Let me tell you a funny story, i went to an eye surgeon told her i was unable to read,drive or even cook my own meals i knew i had cataracts what i didn't know is i have fuchs , she told me she didn't know how i was even seeing anything,and i was lucky because i had an eye disease named after someone.She told me i'd be totally blind with in 5 years ,offered no remedy,Then she was nice enough to give me a pamphlet to take home and read about Fuchs......isn't that funny ? I live alone.

She is fantastic. She removed lesion from my eyelid. It took less than ten minutes. Her hand is steady and incision was perfectly straight. Obviously, she knows her trade. Highly recommended.

When I was in HS (a LONG time ago) I was in a group of other students with a NSF grant studying lens regeneration in newts. We did our own research from raising the newts, to doing the surgery, making slides, documenting the changes with microscopy and even writing a monograph. It was a wonderful experience. I was thinking about that project before breakfast today, then…I read the email from you about this research. I wish I was wealthy, I would gladly help fund this research. This is the first video I have seen discussing Eye Cancers. I don't think many people are aware of this these types of Cancer. I know I never heard of Eye Cancer. I was diagnosed with a "Freckle" (tumor) in 2008. I was told 8 yrs later in 2016 that the "Freckle" became "Suspect." I had Radioactive Plaque Therapy 3 weeks later at Willseye Hospital and lost the sight in my R-eye. In 2020 I had an Enucleation on my R-eye at John Hopkins. I am forever grateful to the Surgeon I had at John Hopkins. It was the best thing I ever did and I have a better quality of life. Thank you for this video.

I was told if you have optic nerve damage its too late. you will always end up with blindness. especially if the mri shows there is nothing indicating why the nerve is being damaged. even no proof of tuberculous. even with perfect blood work. so sad
